A Guide to Local Supports and Services for Children with Special Educational Needs, R.R.P. €8.50 - has been collated by Southside Partnership's team as a support project for Children with Learning Difficulties and is based on the research done by Therese McPhillips, Anita Toolin and Deirdre Keyes. The primary aim of this resource is to provide information on the identification of learning difficulties, along with the assessment procedures, educational entitlements and other support services available to children living in the Dublin area.
We're All in this Together
We're All in this Together, R.R.P. €10.00 - has been produced by parents for parents and looks at the area of children with special educational needs as they participate in the education process. It has now been developed as an on-going community project.

The workbook is designed for children making the transition from primary to secondary school to enable them to understand the different demands that will be made of them in their new environment.

The parents share their thoughts, feelings and experiences with parents who have children moving from primary to secondary school.They hope that the book is of help to other parents and their children and that it generates discussions about the move to second -level education.
